About Club Penguin Pirate Catalogs:

The first ever Club Penguin Pirate Catalog was released in October 2006, during Rockhopper‘s first official mascot appearance. To this day, the Pirate Catalog has always been located at the Ship Hold. The Pirate Catalog is also known as the Rockhopper Catalog or Rockhopper’s Rare Items. Inside the catalog can be found one free item for non-members, and 4-6 other items for members only. The free items is usually a clothing items or a background, while the other 4-6 items vary between clothing items, furniture items and backgrounds. A brand new Pirate Catalog is released whenever Captain Rockhopper visits the island, which is roughly once every 4 months. Each Club Penguin Pirate Catalog is entirely different.
