Club Penguin Codes 2012 (also known as “Unlock Items Online”) debuted in October 2008. This addition is arguably the most significant update in Club Penguin history. Upon it’s release, Club Penguin Codes have been the game’s main source of profit for nearly 4 years now. As always, there are only two unlocking options: Book Codes and Coin Codes. Book Codes are unlocked using Club Penguin Books — which always unlock a roughly 1500 coins. On the other hand, Coin Codes are unlocked using Club Penguin Toys (such as Plush Toys) — which unlock exclusive and limited-edition Club Penguin items. You are also able to unlock a Puffle or 3000 coins if you are uninterested in the items. Both Club Penguin books and toys can be purchased either online or at your local department store — such as Wal Mart, Target and the Disney Store.
In 2011, all 17 Club Penguin Series’ were eliminated, which merging all Toys into one series and formed only one official Club Penguin Treasure Book. Before this notorious change, there were 14 different Club Penguin series.
How to unlock Club Penguin Codes:
Unlocking codes on Club Penguin is very simple. Follow the instructions below to unlock any code you want on Club Penguin.
- Login your Club Penguin account.
- Before selecting a server, click the “Unlock Items Online” logo in the top-right corner.
- Click ”I have a code”. If you have a book instead, please visit our Club Penguin Book Codes page.
- Type in a code and enter it.
Congratulations! You have successfully unlocked a code on Club Penguin.
